I did not mean to convey a suggestion that you should buy the book
necessarily in hard-cover format. (If we can save trees at the expense of
oil for the optical plastic in CDROM's, then I guess that's a fair trade!)
Sorry if my comment camse across that you should buy 20 books. On the other
hand, if each of your students could buy a CDROM at whatever price, then
that would be fine too. What I was and am saying is simply that there should
be an exchange of money for every single copy used, regardless of the
medium. If lua is "valuable", in that the students are getting "value" from
it, then isn't it fair that an expression of that value (e.g., money paid)
be made for each and every copy used?
