John meant *raw* archives, like lua-l-archive.gz, which you can download
from lua.org. This is really raw, in the sense that it contains the raw
messages sent to the list; no headers are edited, nothing is changed.
The point is that having raw archives allows other people to host
alternative web archives and search engines and what not.
So, does anyone know whether sourceforge provides raw archives?
