Inheritance and v4.0

Guys,

I've looked all through the documentation, tools and the mailing list
archive, and I'm having trouble finding an example of how to implement
inheritance using version 4.0 of Lua.

I understand a lot of what to do, based on earlier examples, but there's
some questions I've got about what I've written that could probably be
easily answered by looking at some sample code.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?
