Has anyone adapted lua++ for the Lua 4.0 API so far?

I'm just beginning to use Lua in our C++ project, and have realized that there is

still only the 3.0 API-Version of lua++ available form http://www.lua.org  Did

anybody adapt it to version 4.0 so far? I would greatly appreciate to save me the work.
