searching the web for tdbm on Win32 I found this page

pointing here:

I successfully compiled the contained tdbm lib into a static .lib file with
MSVC6 w/o changing the code, so there might be hope that tdbm on Win is
possible.
(I couldn't build the tdbm test programms as the are not included in top
distro, and hte original distro didn't compile for me)
For lack of time I didn't test if this lib would work with the Lua binding,
but I thought this could at least be of interest.
