Java implementation

Hi!

I'm new to this list, so I'm sorry if this has been answered
before...

I'm working on an interpreter for Lua implemented in Java, and
wondered if this had been done already. I understand that
LuaJava is more a link betwen the thandard C-version of Lua
and the Java VM; is this correct?
