IUP/LED and EDG

I've just recently joined the list, read through the mail archive, and
looked around on the web.  I have a few questions:

* IUP/LED and EDG - are these still being worked on?  are they
  (or will they be) publically available?

* SWIG - I saw someone mention in the mail archives that they
  were working on adapting SWIG to work with Lua.  Was this ever
  finished?
