What I'd like from Lua in the future:

• deterministic garbage collector for allowing automatic, immediate finalization of sparse resources
  • not as a replacement gc, but in addition to the normal gc: the ref. counting list would only hold objects with an __immediate_gc metamethod
• obj:[method_name](...) for obj[method_name](obj,...)
