[My lua-l posts]
With Kurt Jung, I wrote the new 672-page book Beginning Lua Programming. It's written to be usable by beginners, but we think more experienced programmers will also find it useful. It covers:
- the entire Lua language (including the built-in libraries)
- interfacing Lua with C and other languages
- a variety of community-written libraries
- introductions to using Lua with and for: databases, web and network programming, game programming, and handheld devices
More info:
- Aaron, FYI, LuaBooks has been updated with this info. BTW, speaking of the first ~200 pages I've read so far, the book is well structured and technically sound, and I can see how it serves a purpose in addition to PiL (more full review probably later on Amazon). You can delete this comment after reading. --DavidManura
