Sure,

luaffifb as mentioned by yourself is quite standalone.

It is a fork of original luaffifb from Facebook, which is not getting maintained.

If this suits the purpose, we can discuss further

This project is pretty enormous, with loads of dependencies (and a mix of licences and languages, too, including adding dependencies on a C++ runtime).

Maybe you could pick one very generally useful *standalone library* from amongst the many constituent parts of your entire project, and suggest that instead?

For example, bringing luaffifb up to date so it officially supports Lua 5.4 would IMO be a reason (albeit probably fairly complex) request.

Asking for help with your whole project feels a bit like trying to get someone who would like to work on a Linux utility or two to take over maintaining an entire distro instead.

My 3c.

Hi Gabriel,

Is your interest only in pure Lua libraries?

Or is it OK for you to work on a library having a mix of C, C++, and Lua?

Moreover, the project I have in mind (https://github.com/tekenlight) is being maintained by myself and I am looking for some help to take the framework further.

Please contact me @ sudheerhebbale@gmail.com, if you are interested

Hi, everyone.

If you know of a library or tool in the Lua ecosystem that lacks support
for Lua 5.4, has pending bug reports, has been orphaned, or is currently
looking for a maintainer, please let me know.

I am a Computer Science student at PUC-Rio, and I am working on an
undergraduate project advised by Prof. Roberto Ierusalimschy. As part of
my project, I am looking to adopt one or more libraries in the Lua
ecosystem and contribute to open source software.

I believe that contributing to these libraries will be a great
opportunity for me to learn and grow as a developer, while also giving
back to the Lua community.

If you have any suggestions or recommendations, please feel free to
reply to this email or contact me directly. Thank you for your time.

Best regards,
