The reference manuals for Lua 5.1, 5.2, and 5.3 are now available as a
convenient standalone package that can be used offline. See
http://www.lua.org/ftp/#manuals
The version in the package is consistent with the version at
http://www.lua.org/manual/
The package contains a doc directory that can replace the one in the
source tarball. (This only really applies to Lua 5.1.5.)
