Unortunately it seems winapi is stuck with Lua 5.2 (I just quickly checked its repository on github).Sounds like a cool thing to do this weekend, since it's far too hot to do gardening or much else outside. Should be pretty straightforward; 5.2 compatible code doesn't need much tweaking to run on 5.3.
Thank you for the prompt reply and the commitment!I never really switched to 5.2 (it wasn't that cool an enhancement for me at the time), but 5.3 looks *very* interesting and I'm *slooooowly* converting my old scripts/modules, and all new code I write is targeted at 5.3.
But I don't have any serial hardware at home, so the testing might be theoretical until I get back to the lab and they tend to harness me to a C++ compiler as soon as I get in ;)
:-)I hope I can find the time to play with Arduino next week, so I can do some tests myself and report back any issues.
