The hyperbolic functions have been deprecated in Lua 5.3.
They are still present because Lua 5.3 was built with 5.2 compatibility on.
This is the default setting in the lua.org Makefile but is not turned on
in luaconf.h. See http://lua-users.org/lists/lua-l/2014-10/msg00268.html .
