I prefer to call it "prioritized out of sight". Yeah, there are many good ideas, except I can't prioritize all ideas I see very highly in the list of things I want to expend time on.
Too many things vie for our attention, what more your attention as a customer is the 'product' that many company sells nowadays. So it's wise to expend one's time and energy carefully, and not jump on every bandwagon or new Facebook feature that comes along.
