I had your stuff specifically in mind while mentioning this model, Steve.  ;)

I really like the idea of layered packaging of Lua instead of the kitchen sink that people seem to always turn languages into.  It's refreshing to see Roberto talking about what to REMOVE from the next version of Lua instead of the feeping creaturism that dominates most language development.
