Hi everyone and thanks Alexander for the proposal.I would *LOVE* to come to Moscow because all my russian friends are fascinating and because very often, when it comes to very low-level stuff (assembly, fpga, space toilets), we often find russians.I find Russia safe because no one there programs in Ruby.By the way, what are the approximate dates of the envisioned workshop ? Autumn ?Cheers !Gaspard--On Sat, Jan 4, 2014 at 7:50 PM, Alexander Gladysh <agladysh@gmail.com> wrote:
Hi, list!
Thank you, everyone, for your feedback and support (and critique too)!
I feel that the general response of the community to the idea is positive. :-)
I will make necessary arrangements and will submit a detailed
proposal. (This will take some time, of course.)
Meanwhile, if someone else wants to organize workshop in a different
place this year, by all means, do propose that. (In a separate thread,
please, so things will not get confused.) I will run a campaign for
the Workshop to be held in Moscow, and I intend to win, but this
doesn't have to be a race with a single participant. Competition is
necessary for the health! :-)
All the best,
Alexander.
