I'm using OpenResty (see http://openresty.org), it's a nginx modules bundle more than ngx_lua, using LuaJIT, so it's faster than Lua interpreter.

I'm using nginx/uWSGI/Orbit in production right now. uWSGI has a bit of a
learning curve, but works nicely once it's running.
