FYI, this version is giving me "pattern too large" errors. Since the maximum pattern size hasn't changed (I checked) I'm guessing I had some pattern that was on the brink of being too big and the upgrade's optimization changes caused it to end up longer.
There was mention about working to eliminate this limit[1]; is that still on the todo list? Is there a todo list? :)
