Ah, yes indeed. I was distracted by the suggestion of LuaBuild which was the main reason I responded.

We really do not need anyone to act as a gatekeeper. Just displaying the results of a CI system that tries to install packages on multiple systems (linux, windows, osx) and runs its tests would improve quality right away.
