That link is a non-sequitur.
Looking at your earlier posts, the problems you were having were with tolua++'s treatment of smart pointers? That doesn't sound flaky, precisely.
I have no stake in tolua; a zillion years ago I had to modify it to have setters/getters[1] and was not a fan of the build process then. I'm all in favor of hating software but I prefer precision in loathing.
