why is so hard for you guys to take the criticism? then LUA is perfect and if we have to change anything it has to be done on a different implementation???
 
I like to write LUA, and if that is "irritating" to you, well... you probably need to reconsider a couple of things...

More correct to say "it would be a _different_ language".  You are
welcome to patch Lua to make it work like it should, people are pretty
relaxed about that around here.
