Scheme is another well-known and well-respected language that
intentionally specifies certain behavior as undefined (as far as I
know, the intent was to avoid making promises they'd later regret,
especially wrt to optimization). Given the obvious resemblance of Lua
to Scheme, it's probably a better example than C...
[and from what I hear, Java is a case where they _did_ later regret
some promises made...]
