"startx": Before I answer to you, please tell me: Why should I believe anything you say?

I know the future. Do you?

If you don't, thanks a lot, but I will stick to my own thoughts which are based on reality.

Stefan, i respect  the ideas you recently pushed onto this list, but
even as somebody who is only following the lua development for about
three years, i'll find your attempt to split the community and attack
the developers alarming.

lua has come a long way ( 20 years? ) and is developing slowly ( which
is something i really appreciate following the madness in PHP for too
long) and has never claimed to provide backwards compatible versions
( apart from the fact that it IS backwards compatible in 99% )

even if i was agreeing with you ( which i am not really), you not going
to change the way a project is run by jumping on it and calling for a
split or fork after a few month.
