As they say, absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. :) I guess I tend
to follow the Lua style of commiting to a personal repo before pushing to the
main branch. Numlua 0.3 is not shelved, but just around the corner, and it
will have more documentation -- integrated with luahelp -- and fftw (can't
promise any graphical facilities, unfortunately.) But you're right: it is big
for a one programmer's part-time effort, and hence the slow release cycle.
So, stay tuned. :)
