Lua and computer language history

I first saw it some years ago on the wall of the office of a then 
colleague of mine.
Lua is not mentioned in the chart! :-)

Well, to be honest, the author says it is a selection of 50 out of 2500 
languages (I never heard of some of those 50 languages, so I wonder if 
Lua could be rightfully be inserted in the chart, but I'm really no 
computer-historian so probably I'm not a fair judge in this case!), but 
even on http://people.ku.edu/~nkinners/LangList/Extras/langlist.htm the 
info about Lua is rather limited.
