  Please check the documentation of LuaBinaries for naming convetion explanations.

 

  LuaBinaries for 5.2 will use the “lua52.dll” notation.

The package contains Lua5.2.dll.
It is *very* desirable that the issue of "dotted vs undotted" name of the Windows DLL won't come back.

Out of curiosity why is it that Windows Lua libraries are the only platform which get a number postfix?
