Out of curiosity, how is the performance compared to C-Lua?

Not terribly good, about 6 times slower according to my tests. But there are several smoking guns which I'm aware of such as no pre-processing, overuse of exception handling, overuse of the CharPtr class instead of string etc. At this stage I'm concentrating on making sure it's as close to 100% compatible with the C version as possible before I start optimizing.

Cheers,
