Add this target in src/Makefile:

# linux without readline
suse:
	$(MAKE) $(ALL) MYCFLAGS="-DLUA_USE_POSIX -DLUA_USE_DLOPEN" MYLIBS="-Wl,-E -ldl"

Of course, this removes support for readline.
