Hello,
some problems have been reported on some platforms, most notably with (my integration of) Pluto, that I hadn't a chance to fix yet. Meanwhile, an updated version of metalua is available at http://metalua.luaforge.net/metalua-0.4-rc2.tgz, which:
- irons a couple of quirks in the samples
- allows to completely run without Pluto, if you set the environment variable "export LUA_NOSPRINGS=true"
