could not load package string

[oratile leteane <leteaneoratile@...>]

When trying to run my program i keep on getting the error "Could not load the package string":11 in socket.lua. I have placed all neccesary file at the right directory. At lie 11 of socket.lua there is: local string = require("string:). What can possibly be causing this problem?
