I think its a good idea to have at least a few lines describing what a

It's just my policy, I hate to pollute lists. I will update the wiki, etc. soon, plus put up a website.

Sending an announcement that LuaFooBiz v9.8 is ready, with bindings to
the Gaggle library and the Spuknic froozle-processor is more
"polluting", if you want to call it that, than adding two sentences
saying what those libraries are!

Actually, I think most people like to hear about whats going on in the
lua world, even if its not something they are specifically interested
in. Its not like lua-i is flooded with project announcements.

My apologies, I should genuflect and bang my head on the floor in penance. What I really meant in my last post was that I do not wish to turn the Lua list into LuaSDL-announce.

If people are serious about a project, then it ought to be listed in the wiki... And googling is still the fastest way to get

I should have to google to figure out what an announcement is about?
Really? :-)

Anyhow, a request to other people posting about their projects - please
remember to put a sentence or two describing what the project is about
that so that a general audience can know whether its worth following the
links and reading more, or whether its of no further interest to them.

I think someone reading my original post would have gotten a vague idea what the project was about. If a person is interested enough to probe further, then a search or two will turn up the answers. I thought most people have heard of SDL. Perhaps I am mistaken.

One of the worst things in education in my country is spoon-feeding. It is something I try to avoid. My apologies again if my postings have been inadequate.
