Ashwin, my solution is for "continue" construct only. I agree with you that having both "break" and "continue" within a same loop poses a challenge to Lua. Work around involves unnecessary flag and looks ugly. I hope that there is enough interest in having "continue" statement implemented in Lua 5.2. Any comments by developers?? --Leo--
