Hi Chong,

I just check the Makefile, and I guess there should be NO liblua.a
produced by "make mingw".

mingw:
	$(MAKE) "LUA_A=lua51.dll" "LUA_T=lua.exe" \
	"AR=$(CC) -shared -o" "RANLIB=strip --strip-unneeded" \
	"MYCFLAGS=-DLUA_BUILD_AS_DLL" "MYLIBS=" "MYLDFLAGS=-s" lua.exe

Did you get liblua.a by "make mingw"?

Regards,
Austin

hi,

here is my solution:

* build
$ cd $LUA_DIR/src
$ make mingw
$ make luac

* install (replace /mingw with your installation directory)
$ cp lua.h luaconf.h lualib.h lauxlib.h /mingw/include/
$ cp liblua.a /mingw/lib/
$ cp lua.exe luac.exe lua51.dll $WINDIR/system32

hope it's helpful to you :-)
