How to get lua error stack in c++

Hi All,

Is there a simple way ,where in we can get the lua error stack(like Xpcall 
inside lua) from lua api inside our c++ code.
the error stack unwinding has to happen and get that info in c++ code ,so as 
to write it to a error log.
Any info would be helpful,been going thru forums without much luck .
