Just a guess: might it be because a TEMP (or similar) env.var. is not set (aren't they always?)
In my opinion, the filename should be placed in User directory, not in the root (was that the problem?)

    Do I need to do anything else to get a temporary filename?
    This happens only in Windows. In Linux it works.
