This is just what I need!!! It looks like it always returns the string
"(*temporary)" for a C function (which makes sense). Is it true that it
will always return this string if the value gets pushed and will not
push a value if the string is NULL? If so, then I can toss the little
temporary function I wrote to do this!!!
