Getting values in C++ from a Lua table

Hello.

I would like to create a config file in Lua like this:

level1 = {
  music = "musiclevel1",
  items = {ITEM1, ITEM2
  }
} 

and so on...

The problem is how to get tha values of the table from
a C++ program...

Any tip?
