Fellow Lunatics,
I know most people compiling for Windows are using MSVC, but thought I'd note that Watcom's trusty C compiler is
now available at http://www.openwatcom.org/.
I got a Lua5 beta to compile well on it and size was smaller than MSVC even though the Watcom didn't import its
runtime from a dll (like the msvc did).
I haven't tested any of this extensively, so this is just a FWIW,
