How do I read directories ?

I'm not a Lua expert, but it seems to me that Lua aims mostly AnsiC
compliance, and AnsiC (or ISO99 C) does not know about directories.

That being said, an interface to the usual (Posix)
readdir/closedir/opendir ... functions would be nice.
