On a tangental note, can anyone point to me or suggest a guideline for
patching Lua 4.0 so it also has an equal tag method, similar to Lua 5's
__eq?
This is for a project that has used a heavily modified version of Lua 4, so
upgrading to 5 is not a realistic option for now.
