First of all, the language of this list is English. And if you
cannot understand the Lua manual, obviously you haven't read many manuals
so far :-)
Anyway, there is an introduction to Lua in Portuguese here:
http://www.lua.org/ftp/nocoes-3.1.pdf, although it's for Lua 3.1.
