I just found a Web service, listed by TinyApps.org:

http://access.adobe.com/access_email.html

You send them an e-mail with either a file or the URL of a file.
They send back, quite quickly, a conversion to text or to HTML of the given
PDF file.
I don't know if they use the e-mail address...
The conversion isn't perfect, but readable. I will try, if time permits, to
correct the typos and make it available.
