Order of C closure upvalues

One thing the Lua manual is not quite clear on (p. 28), so it would be good
if it could be improved by adding the answer to my question: when you
register upvalues for a C closure, in which order do they appear on the
stack when the C function is called? I presume that they're in the same
order as they were in when the function was registered...
