I am releasing what I have written so far of the book "Programming in Lua":

This is *work in progress*; it is incomplete (I estimate that it has about 
2/3 of its final size), and it needs revision. Nevertheless, I hope this 
material is already an interesting text for those who want to learn about
Lua.

I will be on vacation from Jan 1 to Jan 15. After that, I will welcome 
comments, corrections, sugestions, etc.
