Hi!
There is a editor called jEdit (http://jedit.sourceforge.net) that can
be easily extended with syntax coloring for Lua (or any other language).
It can't handle Lua's comments for now but I have reported it to the
author and it will be fixed in next release.
Sure, it's not a full-blown Lua editor (it's written in Java) but anyway
it's good editor.
