I'm not sure what's going on. SILE is a Lua script; the distribution
comes with two C-based Lua modules that it tries to build. When building
those modules, it links against liblua because that seems to be needed
for Windows. I only added the liblua linking step recently, so you could
try taking it out. That said, I haven't seen any problems on Linux or OS
X caused by linking the libraries with liblua.
