swig+lua

Im considering options to generate wrapper code for my C++ classes and I 
tested SWIG. But after generating code I found that it just generates a 
function to push my clas to lua, but just the definition. I mean, I see 
no way to pass an already created class to lua script. Maybe I am wrong 
or I cant export data values with SWIG, just declarations?
